ABOUT PLA
PLA is a nonprofit educational
enrichment program catering
to families of VPK and Kindergarten students.
I have over 5 years in educational leadership.
I am dedicated to offering 20 struggling students
free tutoring services, to work on literacy and numeracy skills.
DID YOU KNOW
Statistics show only 69% of VPK students were considered Kindergarten ready in 2023.
Children who fall behind early are less likely to catch up, and they tend to remain behind as they move through successive grades at school.
4 out of 10 children
arrive to VPK
academically unprepared.
Young children who are exposed to certain early language and literacy experiences also prove to be good readers later on in life.
